Results documented as follows:

1. Test was conducted on April 14, 2016

2. Weather during test was 64 F

3. Time was 10:00 am

4. Measure mats - The mats were true and square and consistent in size and shape.

Test 1

We placed the mat on Dia 5” plastic blocks spaced at various center spacing to measure sag and determine the stiffness of the mat. Measurements were taken from ground up. 

Test 2

A weight of 385 pounds was used to conduct a puncture test to measure the strength of material. It was raised and dropped from 3m height onto the surface of the mat. The mat was safe and sound.

Test 3

A fold test was conducted to evaluate the flexibility, stiffness and strength of the material. The mat was folded over and a load ( 3300 pounds ) applied to the mat and folded access by the truck with 40 tonnes. Rolling 6 times continuously for front and back. No breakage, returned to shape.

Test 4

The mat put on the barrier, 2 tonnes forklift access it 10 times back and forth. No break of the mat.

Test 5 

Applicaation Test  No problem, normal use

Executive Summary of Findings

1. The mat visually looked good. They were uniform in size, shape and weight.

2. ABOSN mat exhibited high stiffness and strength qualities. The test results indicated the mats have the performance compared to numerous products currently on the market. The mats will withstand repeated traffic. Also the mats fracture and non-break under bending, which would be acceptable for the industry.
